Staying Whole In A Wild World

Life has been feeling a little “extra” lately and I'm definitely feeling it. Between the noise of the world and the hustle of our daily to-do lists, it’s easy to feel like we’re just reacting rather than living. Truth is, the Universe is always speaking to us if we allow ourselves the quiet space we need to receive.
I recently had to put this to the ultimate test. I returned from a deep retreat feeling aligned and open, only to find out two days later that I was losing my job. A part of me broke deeply and another part of me realized that this wasn't an end- it was a redirection. And for all the years I've had the gift of filling fitness rooms and virtual reality spaces helping others reclaim their health, this life changing work of supporting the spiritual/mental/emotional part of humans is urgent and so needed right now.
I've been pouring every ounce of my heart and soul into my day to day work, my family, my accountability circles and upcoming retreat because I know there are others who also want that same unshakable peace and purpose in their lives.
Thank you for being here.
Enjoy three tips to help you stay active and healthy from the inside out. Please comment with any others that you love to live by.
1. Reclaim Your First 30 Minutes
Most of us wake up and immediately reach for our phones, letting the world’s chaos dictate our mood before our feet even hit the floor. Challenge yourself to a "no-phone zone" for the first 30 minutes of your day. Breathe, stretch, and set your own intention. Imagine waking up and feeling proud that you are in control of your energy.
2. Move to Release, Not Just to Burn
Physical activity is about more than just fitness; it’s about moving stagnant energy. When things feel crazy, go for a walk, dance in your kitchen, or hit the mat. Move your body to "shake off" the stress of the day so you can stay clear and open to the signs the Universe is sending you.
3. Practice "Active Presence"
We often "listen" to our loved ones while thinking about our next task. Today, try to be 100% there. Look them in the eye. Listen to the subtext. When you are actually present, you’ll find that genuine love and appreciation flow naturally into your relationships, bringing a massive boost of joy to your day-to-day life.
